I’m Katie! Art has been a passion of mine ever since I can remember. Within the past few years I have really been pursuing it, with the motivation to beat the odds of a starving artist, and bring color and happiness to the world around me.

I’m a single mama of two sweet little boys and it has just been me and them against the world. It’s been such an amazing, empowering journey.

When my boys were much smaller I pursued two of my passions, art and children, and started an art based in-home daycare! I wanted to make sure I could watch them grow up before they headed off to school, and those ended up being some of the best years of my life.

I closed my daycare when my youngest headed off to school, and now I get to teach art, face paint at birthday parties and events, and paint commissions and even murals ! My jobs are all over the place, but it makes life, and work so much more rewarding.

I’m so thankful for those who have supported me, and I’m so excited to work with future customers!
